God: We believe in One God, the creator of all things, holy, perfect, infinite & eternally existing in a loving unity of 3 divine Person: the Father, the Son & the Holy Spirit – Holy Trinity. God with unlimited knowledge & sovereign power, has a gracious divine purpose from eternity to redeem a people for Himself & to make all things new for His own glory.

Jesus Christ: We believe that Jesus Christ is God’s son, incarnated, fully divine & human, one person in 2 natures. Jesus is also Israel’s promised Messiah, was conceived through the Holy Spirit& born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, was crucified & resurrected bodily from the dead, ascended to heaven & sits at the right hand of God the Father as our High Priest & Advocate.

Holy Spirit: We believe that the Holy Spirit, in all He does, glorifies the Lord Jesus Christ. He convicts the world of sin & guilt, regenerates sinners, He illuminates, guides & empowers believers for Christ-like living & services. In Him, believers are baptised into union with Christ & adopted as heirs in God’s family.

The Bible: We believe that God has spoken in the Scriptures, both Old & New Testaments, through human authors inspired by the Holy Spirit. The Bible is verbally inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, a complete revelation of God’s will for salvation & is the ultimate authority by which every human being is judged.

The Human Condition: We believe that God created Adam & Eve in His own image, but they sinned when tempted by Satan. Through Adam’s fall, we are sinners by nature, alienated from God & under His wrath. Only through God’s saving work in Jesus Christ, can we be saved, reconciled & renewed.

The Work of Jesus Christ: We believe that Jesus Christ shed His blood on the Cross as the perfect, all sufficient sacrifice for our sins. His atoning death & victorious resurrection established the only grounds of salvation.

The Church: We believe the true church, the body of Christ, is made up with believers who have been justified by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ. They are led by the Holy Spirit of which Christ is the Head. The true church is manifested in local churches, serving the community & God’s Kingdom mission. The local church practises 2 ordinances mandated by the Lord Jesus namely, Baptism & the Lord’s Supper. They are celebrated by the church in genuine faith, confirm & nourish the believer.

Christian Living: We believe that God commands us to love Him supremely & others sacrificially. We are to live out our faith with love & care for one another as in the New Commandment (John 13:34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another), compassion towards the poor & justice for the oppressed.

With God’s Word, power of the Holy Spirit, fervent prayer, we are to combat the spiritual forces of darkness & evil, fight the good fight of faith to overcome victoriously. In obedience to Jesus’ Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.) we are to make disciples of all nations, bearing witness to the gospel of the Kingdom in word & deed.

Jesus Christ’s Return: We believe in the personal, bodily & pre-Millennium return of our Lord Jesus Christ. The coming of Christ at a time known only to God, the Father, demands our constant watch, alertness, expectancy & as our Blessed hope, motivates the believers to Godly living as His holy Bride, sacrificial service & zeal for mission.

Response & Eternal Destiny: We believe that God commands everyone everywhere to believe the gospel by turning to Him in repentance & receiving Jesus Christ as Lord & Saviour. We believe God will raise the dead bodily & judge the world, assigning the unbeliever to condemnation & eternal punishment. For the believer to eternal blessedness & joy with the Lord in the New Heaven & the New Earth, to the praise & glory of His amazing Grace.
